Machinist 2nd Shift

5 (10 Hour) days right now, normally 4 (10 hour) days
Monday-Friday 4:30PM-3AM

Machinist 2nd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 04:30pm to03:00am )
- Set up, operate, and monitor manual and CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
- Perform machine adjustments and offsets to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Maintain tight tolerances and follow quality standards throughout production runs.
Machinist 2nd Shift Qualifications:
- At least 5 + years experience with lathes and mills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and cutting speeds/feeds.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain tight tolerances.
