Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Part Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
We are seeking an experienced Welder to fabricate steel parts using manual and semi-automatic welding processes, including gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
MUST be able to work around fiberglass
WELD TEST REQUIRED
- Weld components in flat or vertical positions
- Clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt components to required positions
- Operate welding equipment to fuse metal segments using multiple processes
- Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion Lay out, position, and secure parts using measuring tools
- Operate forklifts and hand/power tools as needed
Welder Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years welding experience
- Minimum 1 year painting experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to lift/carry 15–50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must pass weld test
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
