Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Quality Document Specialist

This role is responsible for managing communication with ingredient suppliers and ensuring all quality assurance (QA) documentation meets internal specifications and regulatory standards.

Quality Document Specialist Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$19.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm)

Communicate with suppliers via email and phone to collect and verify documentation
Review and compare QA documents against product specifications
Collaborate with internal departments including QA, Regulatory, and Purchasing teams
Use MS Excel and Outlook for tracking, communication, and reporting
Maintain organized records of supplier documentation and compliance

Quality Document Specialist Qualifications:

Knowledge of ingredient suppliers and regulatory documentation
Experience with QA processes and documentation review
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Background in QA/ Pharma Manufacturing
Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
