Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Press Operator

We’re seeking a motivated Press Operator to join a fast-paced printing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials according to customer specifications.

Press Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:00pm)

Set up and operate printing presses safely and efficiently.
Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Follow work orders, deadlines, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Press Operator Qualifications:

Training on day shift and then will be moved to swing shift 3pm-11pm.
Previous press operating or printing experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
