Yard Laborer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Drain and properly dispose of fluids (oil, coolant, fuel, transmission fluid, etc.) from salvage vehicles.
- Remove batteries, tires, and other hazardous components for recycling or proper disposal.
- Assist mechanics and dismantlers by prepping vehicles for part removal or crushing.
- Assist in staging vehicles and parts for dismantling, shipping, or inventory.
- Operate hand and power tools to assist with light disassembly or maintenance tasks.
Yard Laborer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
- Knowledge of automotive systems (especially fluids, batteries, and basic components).
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Previous experience in auto repair, oil/lube service, or salvage yard work.
