Director of Quality Assurance role at a manufacturing solutions company (metal components, assemblies, etc.) with a large client base in automotive and aerospace industries. $140K - $150K DOE + benefits package. Must have experience in Automotive and Aerospace industries.

Director of Quality Assurance (manufacturing) Details:
Direct Hire position- $
150,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Director of Quality Assurance (manufacturing) Director of Quality to be responsible for ensuring the company maintains highest standards of quality in operations.
- Manage Day to Day operations of Quality department and oversee the quality technicians and support personnel.
- Work directly with customers on effectively resolving quality issues.
- Work internal and customer root cause and corrective actions and maintain the CAR log.
- Monitor, measure, and maintain Quality Objective Trends and act when they don’t meet their goal.
- Implement a process to strive for zero defects and continually improve customer quality ratings.
- Perform training throughout the organization and maintain/facilitate special process personnel testing and certifications.
- Manage both internal and external customer/process audits.
- Maintain Quality document records showing conformance of Risk Management and Continuous Improvement Process
- Gather, document, and maintain the Customer Compliment and Complaint Process and Log.
- Perform PO and Process Router reviews for approvals.
Director of Quality Assurance (manufacturing) Qualifications:
- Must have extensive experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the Automotive, Aerospace, or related Industry.
- MUST have full understanding and extensive experience with Aerospace Industry and Audits.
- Must have full understanding and extensive experience with IATF 16949 and AS9100 QMS Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Leadership position required to have strong knowledge of quality systems, FDA regulations and project management.
