Accountant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
35.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, & revenue recognition
- Prepare timely & accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
- Coordinate & lead the annual audit process with external auditors
- Develop & enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
- Assist with financial planning & analysis, including annual budgeting & forecasting
- Monitor & analyze accounting data & produce financial reports or statements
- Ensure compliance with local, state, & federal government reporting requirements & tax filings
- Support M&A due diligence & integration, as applicable
Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, & internal controls
- Proficiency in QuickBooks & Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, & leadership skills
- Experience in Construction preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP system implementation or upgrades
- Familiarity with international accounting standards, if applicable
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
