Temp-to-Hire position- $
12.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Newspaper journalists use investigative reporting, editing and writing skills to produce newsworthy stories.
- Investigative reporting typically involves researching topics and stories, interviewing people with information about the story and forming relationships with experts or consultants on the subject.
- As a newspaper journalist, you may work in newsrooms and in the field, taking notes, cultivating sources, analyzing events and quickly writing accurate articles.
- You may investigate background information to try to find the story behind the story in the face of approaching deadlines.
Reporter Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, a strong work ethic and interest in advancing in the journalism profession.
- Feature writing, meeting coverage, game coverage, photography and research.
- Accuracy and objectivity are essential.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
