Shipping Coordinator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
50,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Manage daily outbound shipments, including scheduling, packing, labeling, and trailer loading.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure shipping deadlines and customer delivery requirements are met.
- Conduct final quality inspections to confirm shipment accuracy and condition prior to dispatch.
Shipping Coordinator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, transportation methods, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), ERP systems, and shipping software.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and preferably yard trucks; training available. • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions under pressure, and lead teams in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to lift/move heavy items and work in environments with fluctuating temperatures and noise.
