2nd Shift Packer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.15 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:00pm to10:00pm )
- Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials to be moved
- Feed, remove, stack, or organize printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, and other in-process products
- Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Use hand tools to strap, brace, or pad loads to prevent damage in transit
- Move materials from storage or work areas to designated locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or dollies
- Count, weigh, and record materials handled each shift
- Tag or label materials and mark cases or containers with identifying information
- Bundle and band materials using banding machines or clinchers
- Occasionally use automated equipment or hoists to assist with loading and moving materials
2nd Shift Packer Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic knowledge of warehouse layouts, item codes, and stock-handling procedures
- Ability to operate basic material handling equipment and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
- Ability to lift 20–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly
- Must have safety toe shoes and hearing protection (required at all times)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
