Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing state-of-the-art food processing equipment and facility mechanical systems.

Maintenance Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
62,400.00 / annually Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday from 12:00am to12:00pm )
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on food processing machinery, facility mechanical systems, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, diagnose faults, and perform corrective actions to restore operation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support equipment start-up and minimize downtime.
- Train machine operators on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS (UpKeep software).
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety policies, and plant hygiene standards. Follow “clean as you go” procedures, ensuring tools and workspaces are organized and ready for audits.
- Comply with all safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
- Prepare and submit daily end-of-shift reports documenting completed work and outstanding issues.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing, industrial, or food production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
- Proficient with tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
- Experience with CMMS software (e.g., UpKeep) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a controlled food production environment with adherence to hygiene protocols.
- Availability to work multiple shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
