Staff Accountant Details:
Direct Hire position- $
55,000.00 to $ 65,000.00 / annually First Shift
Financial & Job Cost Analysis:
- Design and maintain Excel-based dashboards that reflect real-time financial and production data. Your detail-oriented approach and advanced Excel skills will be critical in building and sustaining these vital tools, ensuring accuracy and real-time insights.
- Use ComputerEase to analyze job cost trends and support project forecasting. Your love for deductive analytical thinking will shine as you dissect cost trends, providing the precise data needed for accurate forecasting.
- Support AP functions including PO reconciliation, vendor data entry, and invoice validation. This requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring all financial records are impeccable.
Data Reporting & Systems:
- Ensure data integrity across ERP and financial systems. Your ability to deeply focus on one problem at a time and your "t's crossed, i's dotted" mindset are paramount here, safeguarding the accuracy and reliability of our core data.
- Compile and present analytical summaries to help guide operational decision-making. Your problem-solving skills will be utilized to distill complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
- Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and Production to streamline data-sharing processes. Your analytical thinking will help identify inefficiencies, and your collaborative nature will ensure smooth integration of data flows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between finance and operations to improve internal reporting processes. Your dedication to problem-solving and improving systems will make you a bridge between departments.
- Participate in department reviews and planning sessions with up-to-date job costing data. Your ability to provide precise, current data will be essential for informed discussions and effective planning.
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- A detail-oriented approach to financial and operational data.
- Advanced Excel skills and exceptional analytical thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex findings clearly.
- A proactive mindset with a strong initiative to identify and improve systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and solve intricate problems.
