Elwood Staffing is hiring a Shipping and Purchasing Coordinator in Longview, TX! Monday-Friday 8am-5pm $17-21 DOE

Shipping and Purchasing Coordinator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Receiving incoming shipments
- Update inventory
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule and track deliveries
- Shop carriers for lowest rate
- Purchase raw materials
- Coordinate with carriers to arrange pickups
- Communicate with production to ensure they have what they need
- Check purchase order against bill of lading and invoices
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Other duties to be assigned
Shipping and Purchasing Coordinator Qualifications:
- This work is done 50% at the desk and 50% in the warehouse
- 2+ years of purchasing and shipping
- Forklift experience required
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
