Production Planner Details:
Temporary position- $
24.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Work with production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize capacity
- Release production orders for Production to enable fulfillment of customer orders
- Escalate sales orders that cannot be built to meet customer request date
- Communicate production requirements
- Team with Production and Purchasing groups to recognize capacity or critical material imbalances constraining factory production
- Collaborate with Sales to understand customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery
- Forecast and plan capacity requirements to ensure alignment with Operations
- Work under management guidance for projects requiring analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Production Planner Qualifications:
- Experience in production planning, inventory management, or a similar role
- Practical understanding of planning processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing demands
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within small and large, diverse teams
- Comfortable with fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years manufacturing Production Planning experience
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
