Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Looking for a skilled Machine Operator as soon as possible for the second shift!

Block Mold Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$18.50 /hour
Full Time work available
Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 02:30am)

Responsible for operating equipment in accordance with procedures to ensure optimum product quality.
Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, operates and shuts down manufacturing equipment.
Verifies order information and produces part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity
Communicates with supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of the daily/weekly schedule

Block Mold Operator Qualifications:

Manufacturing machine operation experience
2+ years forklift experience
Above average understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
Availability to work 12 hour shifts

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
