Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Receiving of Raw materials from vendors/delivery technicians·
- Receipt of goods/Material transactions·
- Move material, equipment, or supplies from docks and storage areas to production areas for processing.·
- Clearly identify material, attach identifying tags to materials or containers.·
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments.· Record number of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.·
- Stage material in correct areas for processing orders.·
- Controlling machines, using control mechanisms, or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
- Record operation or production data·
- Operation of vehicles, mechanized devices or equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, passenger vehicles, cranes, hoists.·
- Maintain a clean safe workspace, make sure material is appropriately stored, staged, or labeled.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Physically able to operate different machinery/equipment.·
- Prolonged periods of standing walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, stooping, and carrying materials.·
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.·
- Warehouse environment, indoor but not climate controlled.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
