Material Handler Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $21.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)
  • Receiving of Raw materials from vendors/delivery technicians·
  • Receipt of goods/Material transactions·
  • Move material, equipment, or supplies from docks and storage areas to production areas for processing.·
  • Clearly identify material, attach identifying tags to materials or containers.·
  • Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments.· Record number of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.·
  • Stage material in correct areas for processing orders.·
  • Controlling machines, using control mechanisms, or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
  • Record operation or production data·
  • Operation of vehicles, mechanized devices or equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, passenger vehicles, cranes, hoists.·
  • Maintain a clean safe workspace, make sure material is appropriately stored, staged, or labeled.

Material Handler Qualifications:

  • Physically able to operate different machinery/equipment.·
  • Prolonged periods of standing walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, stooping, and carrying materials.·
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.· 
  • Warehouse environment, indoor but not climate controlled.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
