Lead a growing service department, mentor techs, and keep projects humming with a fast-paced, hands-on role.

Service Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Run the service department day-to-day; supervise scheduler/coordinator and field technicians.
  • Assign techs to projects, ensure tools/equipment readiness, and coordinate emergency calls.
  • Manage jobs in the ERP (Vista), review proposals with sales, and close out T&M/cost worksheets.
  • Oversee shop work, deliveries, vehicle assignments/maintenance, and tooling.
  • Drive safety (site audits), policy enforcement, and tech development/training.

Service Manager Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in service, field operations, or industrial maintenance management.
  • Proven track record of supervising and developing field technicians and coordinators.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, resource allocation, shop operations, and emergency call coordination.
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook; ERP experience required (Vista a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vehicles, tooling, and equipment programs.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner with sales, engineering, accounting, and branch leadership.
  • Strong leadership presence in both office and field environments, with a focus on safety and policy enforcement.
  • Ability to identify process improvements, implement new service policies, and drive departmental efficiency.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, lifting/rigging systems, or related mechanical fields preferred.
