Seeking 2nd or 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians with manufacturing/industrial experience.

Maintenance Technician Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $26.00 to $32.00 /hour
  • Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 07:00am)
  • Performs advanced and expert level troubleshooting, diagnoses, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications of machinery.
  • This position operates mechanical equipment such as motors, hydraulic systems and pumps, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment, hand tools, power tools and precision-measuring and testing instruments.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Repair and/or replace defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; test for electrical and hydraulic circuitry and mechanical systems; order supplies and repair items as necessary
  • Engage in proactive maintenance activities that include repairing air leaks, oil leaks, replacing components, continuous improvement activities, project work, and minor repairs to equipment
  • Act as a proactive team member and work closely with the maintenance Supervisor
  • Analyze and recommend engineered solutions to failures
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC problems
  • Perform Lockout/Tag out procedures for equipment
  • Lay out, wire, build, and troubleshoot electrical panels and/or other machinery

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' related experience in Die Casting operations
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance preferred, but not required
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Knowledge of UBE or Buhler Prince Die Cast machines; hydraulic systems; stackmelter functions and operations; overhead cranes; plant air systems; hot oil heating units; Rimrock sprayers/ladles mechanical functions and controls; Fanuc and ABB robots programs, manipulation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary
  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 55 pounds regularly
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic math calculations, and complete visual inspections
