QC 2nd Shift Details:
Temporary position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Build relationships with customers; manage accounts by maintaining profiles, details, and service needs.
- Address inquiries on shipments, billing, status, services, carriers; escalate complex issues.
- Interface with airlines, shipping, truck carriers to understand requirements and track shipments/details
- Manage documents for accuracy using knowledge of customers/carriers/procedures. Update data in systems, identify/resolve operational/service concerns.
- Use databases/logs/sources to locate/verify operational info (standard to complex).
- Track orders/shipments, assist with tracing (mostly standard/regional/domestic). Create/process invoices, review accuracy, handle customer questions/payments.
- Ensure policy/procedure compliance, safe work environment; help others understand operations.
QC 2nd Shift Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED.
Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.
Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
Utilizes databases and systems to review and verify documentation and information.
Ability to prepare basic reports, queries, and operational information.
Ability to track and trace basic shipments or product.
Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.
Ability to communicate potential concerns or delays.
Operates in a fast pace and changing environment and in both a team and individual contributor environment.
