Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Seeking a Clean Room Production Associate to support operations in a clean room environment.

Clean Room Opearators Details:

Temporary position
$18.50 /hour
Full Time work available
Third Shift (06:30pm to 07:00am)

Load and unload products from injection molding machines in a clean room setting
Assemble a variety of plastic parts according to specifications
Maintain cleanliness and follow all clean room protocols
Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
Sit for extended periods as required for assembly tasks

Clean Room Opearators Qualifications:

At least 6 months of work experience
Job hoppers need not apply
Comfortable working in a clean room and following strict cleanliness guidelines
Ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
