Material Handler - 3rd shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( 11:00pm to07:00am )
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE
- Safely load, unload, and move sheet metal materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or overhead cranes.
- Transport materials to designated workstations or storage areas.
- Receive, verify, and record incoming sheet metal stock.
- Tag, label, and organize materials according to size, type, or job number.
- Conduct routine cycle counts or full inventory as needed.
- Pull and stage sheet metal materials for production based on work orders or job specs.
- Ensure the right material type, thickness, and quantity are provided.
Material Handler - 3rd shift Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods
- Experience working with sheet metal or in a metal fabrication environment
- Knowledge of metal types, gauges, and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, material specs, or blueprints
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
