Production Mechanic Details:
Direct Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 35.00 / hour Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 01:15pm to09:45pm )
- Troubleshoot and assist the production lines efficiently to minimize down time
- Maintain production lines to keep running efficiently
- Coordinate all equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager
- Adhere to all department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect, reassuring the quality and quantity of product produced
- Ensure tasks are completed on time
- Follow and encourage safety policies and work habits
- Promote and develop a strong teamwork environment
- Repair equipment in a timely manner without disrupting the production process
- Adhere to company policy for PPE requirements.
Production Mechanic Qualifications:
- Preferred mechanical experience in food/beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industries
- Knowledge of production equipment including labelers, fillers, tube machines, coders
- Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Demonstrated mechanical ability and technical aptitude in a manufacturing maintenance environment
