Production Department Manager Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Manage the daily workflow, inventory/data entry, processes, quality, and efficiencies of the Demold, Setup, and Spray teams within the GFRC Production Department
  • Manage and coordinate labor and equipment-based schedules and labor standards.
  • Identify when more labor is needed and when to reduce labor.
  • Follow up with QC daily to make sure daily production is being analyzed so all defects are addressed and remedied.
  • Ensure that processes are sufficient enough that any successes are repeated and problems are solved.
  • Meet with team leaders each afternoon to create the production schedule and coordinate the plan for the following day accordingly. Who is working on what to make sure the schedule is complete, and deadlines are met.
  • This position is instrumental in the hiring and management of employees.
  • Ensure standard work is followed and repeated.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups
  • Keep track of inventory and usage
  • Maintain 6S efforts and record daily scores along with continuous improvement in safety metrics

Production Department Manager Qualifications:

  • College degree in one of the following or similar: Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management Preferred
  • Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.
  • Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
  • Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines.
  • Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately.
  • Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and employees.
  • Must be able to follow, respect, and teach our company core values.
