Powder Paint Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 / hour Full Time and Part Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Assist in setup and maintenance of powder booth (clean guns, hoses, pickups daily).
- Correctly set up equipment for each part painted (dryoff, oven, washer).
- Perform mill checks on painted parts
- Check jobs for color and type of paint to be used. Documentation & Reporting
Powder Paint Tech Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED • Able to read, speak and write English. • Ability to read precision instruments (i.e., dial caliper, micrometer). • Able to operate screwdrivers, wrenches and other hand tools as needed. • Able to handle small power tools where applicable. • Flexible to handle various assignments & changing priorities. • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as needed. • Ability to work in temperature ranges from 45 degrees to 110 degrees for 9.5 hours. • Ability to tolerate solvents and oils. • The ability to work under moderate supervision in an informal team-oriented atmosphere with routine tasks and is frequently fast-paced and high-pressure. • Must be able to hear the running of the machines and determine minor problems in operation. • Ability to use visual skills to check for scratches, and/or defects in the metal.
