Growing family business in search of a CNC Lathe & Mill Setup Technician position and when applicable machine product.

CNC Programmer Setup Tech Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
28.00 to $ 30.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Independently set up CNC Lathes and Mills to run various production jobs
- Install and align workholding fixtures and tooling with precision
- Prepare machines for First Article and production runs
- Write, modify, and troubleshoot G-code programs as needed
- Ensure code is optimized for accuracy, efficiency, and safety
- Utilize Fanuc control systems to program and operate CNC machines
- Troubleshoot Fanuc-related issues and ensure smooth operation
- Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and modify part programs
- Interpret blueprints and convert design specifications into machine-readable code
- Operate manual machinery such as grinders, lathes, and mills to support production setups and tooling adjustments
- Prepare and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
CNC Programmer Setup Tech Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming and setup experience
- Strong working knowledge of CNC Lathe and Mill operations
- Experience with ID & OD grinding is a major plus
- ISO 9001 knowledge and experience submitting First Articles
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
- Must own all necessary tools to complete daily tasks independently
- Ability to work without supervision and take full ownership of projects
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
