Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Inventory Coordinator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$21.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)

Keep our inventory accurate and organized — raw materials, components, and finished products.
Perform daily cycle counts (yes, you’ll get your steps in!) and help resolve any inventory mysteries.
Team up with shipping, receiving, production, and purchasing — you’re the glue that keeps it all connected.
Use our systems (like ERP or WMS) to log and track inventory like a pro.
Help with big events like physical inventory counts and audits — think of it as the Super Bowl of inventory!

Inventory Coordinator Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with inventory control or warehouse work.
Computer savvy — Excel, WMS, ERP systems.
Detail-focused, organized, and ready to own your role.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Forklift skills? Even better!
