Engineering Supervisor/Programmer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
85,000.00 to $ 92,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Design and development of equipment control systems
- Design of control panel layouts and interconnection diagrams
- High and low voltage electrical wiring design for all equipment
- Reviews all electrical drawings for accuracy and provide direction to subordinates
- Research and development of new equipment
- Purchase and inventory components associated with projects
- Ensure quality control and safety procedures
- Training subordinates in equipment function and operation
- Provide customer support before, during and after installation of equipment
- Interact with vendors to determine application of technology updates
- Troubleshoot equipment via phone, online, or site visits
Engineering Supervisor/Programmer Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of experience with PLC systems
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles for automated processes; experience with ControlLogix/CompactLogix, robotic motion, and FactoryTalk View Studio programming; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
- Design & Development: Skilled in creating program architecture, documenting processes, modifying PLC/HMI templates, and collaborating on engineering designs to ensure seamless electrical integration.
- Hands-On Installation: Capable of handling technical installation tasks, including field wiring and on-site troubleshooting at customer facilities.
- Problem Solving & Logic: Proficient in ladder logic programming, logical reasoning, and resolving complex electromechanical issues while staying organized and effective under pressure.
