Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30am )
- Loads and unloads materials and merchandise from trucks
- Keeps track of orders shipped through the timely filling of data in relevant inventories
- Ensures all raw materials are correctly labeled with appropriate dates
- Packing
- Keeps track of all orders and dispatches priority orders first
- Invetory
- Locates raw materials and packed products for inspection teams
- Enter daily transactions in the related software.
- Support in distribution by timely picking, wrapping, packing, and loading of ordered material for clients
- Assembles crates for loading, using hand tools if needed
- Installs bracing, padding, and strapping to loaded materials
- Receive materials and parts
- Process delivery notes and ensure that all deliveries match to invoices as far as quantity is concerned
- Ensure accuracy of delivered materials
- Pack and unpack materials as they arrive
- Ensure the quality of materials by performing random checks on received deliveries.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Previous Forklift experience required
- Computer Proficient
- Ability to read a tape measure and use general hand and power tools.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
