Contract HR Generalist
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Human Resources at the plant level.

Contract HR Generalist Details:
Contract position- $
28.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Employee Investigation : conduct through and confidential employee investigations and document findings
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and termination process of temp employees
- Lead performance-related discussions, including those tied to attendance issues
- Review and approve weekly time cards to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll deadlines
- Maintain and update the plant’s manning and headcount sheet regularly
- Respond to inquiries and documentation requests from the unemployment insurance agency
- Support and participate in employee engagement initiatives and activities
- Provide assistance with employee surveys and collecting data
- Answer incoming calls and assist plants with visitors professionally
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, ensuring prompt and respectful support
Contract HR Generalist Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a human resources function
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Payroll experience is preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy with capability in email, MS office and related HR software.
- The position requires a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
