Financial Counselor
Medicaid/HIP On-Site Eligibility Specialist is responsible for reviewing and evaluating all Self Payaccounts daily for potential payment sources, including Medicaid, HIP, HHW, Marketplace and thirdparty liabilities. Successfully resolves all potential Medicaid/Government Assistance applicationsreferred by Clients.

Financial Counselor Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Review all self pay and referral accounts for potential Medicaid/HIP eligibility
- Conduct face-to-face screenings with patient and/or patient's family while patient is in-house
- Initiates and/or assists patients in obtaining pertinent medical and financial documentation for case processing
- Monitor accounts by maintaining regular follow up with FSSA to determine status of case processing
- Attain department goals set for revenue, applications and approvals
Financial Counselor Qualifications:
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft products
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills

- High school diploma or GED
- Licensed Indiana Navigator within 90 days of starting position
- One year experience with general clerical/administrative duties
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
