Framer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:00am to05:30pm )
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to build walls, floors, staircases, roofs, and door/window openings
- Install metal or wood framing using various hand and power tools
- Ensure all framing work is level, plumb, and square
- Secure frames with appropriate fasteners such as nails, screws, or bolts
- Follow local building codes and safety regulations
- Work with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades as needed
- Maintain tools and keep the job site clean and safe
Framer Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience in framing or general carpentry
- Proficient with measuring tools, saws, nail guns, and other framing equipment
- Solid understanding of construction and safety procedures
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Experience with both wood and metal framing
- Familiarity with residential and commercial construction
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Knowledge of OSHA standards or safety certifications (a plus)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
