Carpenter Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:00am to05:30pm )
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials based on blueprints or technical drawings
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, windows, doors, cabinets, and frameworks
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow project plans and schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and to quality standards
- Inspect work to ensure adherence to building codes and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Carpenter Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter (3+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
