Elwood Staffing has an opening in Fort Collins for a Buyer on a contract basis.

Buyer II Details:
Temporary position- $
26.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Actively monitor Consumption Based Procurement Report and order according to recommended ordering practice
- Review past due deliveries on purchase orders; follow up with suppliers to determine status and updated expected due dates
- Respond to expedite situations, where a delivery is required in the near-term to avoid a manufacturing lines down situation
- Analyze supply and demand, and prepare purchase orders, gaining approval when required
- Foster healthy supplier relationships, working toward win-win outcomes
- Identify waste and drive improvements throughout the supply chain, build partnerships, add value to the business, and support the lean manufacturing model
- Identify purchasing process improvement opportunities, to eliminate waste/cost, and improve efficiencies and service level
- Support accounting and finance in reconciling transactions and inventory amounts as needed
Buyer II Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge base in Microsoft office portfolio
- 2+ years working experience in supply chain or a related field
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field
- Training in Toyota Production System, JIT, Lean Supply Chain tools, and Inventory Management.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
