Staff Accountant
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team for a nonprofit in Medford! This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing a high volume of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.

Staff Accountant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
27.53 to $ 37.25 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage and track incoming funds and revenue streams
- Handle financial data related to grants, where applicable
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role beyond basic bookkeeping
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or completion of intermediate accounting series of college coursework required
- Experience with ERP's accounting software required
- This position does not utilize QuickBooks, must have more advanced software experience
- Prior Experience of at least 2-3+ years of experience working with US GAAP, fund accounting, grant or protect accounting, nonprofit or medical coding
- Must have experience working for a high volume and high revenue generating corporate company
- Experience working on an accounting team of at least 4+ people
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
