Elwood Staffing is hiring packers in Pittsburg, TX! Shifts are 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. $16.50/hr with lots of OT!

Packer Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.50 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 07:00am to07:00pm )
- Days-7a-7p, Nights 7p-7a
- Working 6-7 days a week
- OT is available
- Inspect and pack food products according to company specifications
- Ensure packaging is properly labeled and sealed
- Stack packed items on pallets and prepare for shipment
- Operating a sit down forklift
- Perform quality checks for weight, seal integrity, and appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with line changeovers and clean-up procedures
- Other duties to be assigned
- No jewelry, false lashes, fingernail polish or fake nails are allowed due to it being a food manufacturing facility
- Hair net, bump cap, safety glasses, and ear plugs are provided and must be worn
- Non climate controlled facility
Packer Material Handler Qualifications:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Standing for the entire 12 hours shift
- Must live within 30 minutes of Pittsburg
- Must have manufacturing experience
- Must be flexible to work any shift
- Must have forklift experience and be able to pass a written and physical forklift exam
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
