Steel Manufacturing Associate Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Assist with steel manufacturing processes including cutting, grinding, loading, and unloading materials.
- Monitor machinery and equipment for proper operation and report malfunctions.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by following safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform quality checks on materials and finished products.
- Support other team members and departments as needed to meet production goals.
Steel Manufacturing Associate Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in hot, noisy, and physically demanding conditions.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use hand/power tools.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift certification or crane operation experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with steel or metal fabrication processes.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
