Route Dispatch
The Waste Management Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the daily routes and schedules of waste collection drivers to ensure efficient and timely service. This role involves communicating with drivers, customers, and internal departments to manage service requests, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Background and MVR check will be required as well, must be a CDL driver.

Route Dispatch Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
26.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
- Plan and schedule daily routes for waste collection trucks based on service needs and customer requests.
- Monitor and track fleet activity using dispatch and GPS software.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide support and updates. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, complaints, and service changes.
- Maintain accurate records of driver logs, routes, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to address equipment or personnel issues.
Route Dispatch Qualifications:
- Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or waste management strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with dispatch and routing software, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
