Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Springfield Injection Mold Operator

Skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and run a Springfield Injection Mold Machine. This role goes beyond basic machine operation—you'll be responsible for mold changes, troubleshooting, and maintaining high quality standards throughout production.

Springfield Injection Mold Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$17.00 to $18.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)

Set up and operate Springfield injection molding machine
Perform mold changes and machine maintenance
Monitor and troubleshoot machine performance
Conduct quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications
Use a variety of hand and pneumatic tools (drills, peelers, etc.)
Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Springfield Injection Mold Operator Qualifications:

Ability to read and write in English
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery
Injection molding experience required; structural foam experience is a plus
Mold change experience required
Familiarity with robotics a plus
Comfortable with heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
