Electrical Engineer Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift
  • Create electrical control systems and drawings for machinery based on customer specifications.
  • Utilize CAD and PC-based tools for design using state-of-the-art PLCs and servo drives.
  • Design and program PLC and HMI applications for new equipment.
  • Prepare machine/process concept sketches, schematics, timing diagrams, and supporting calculations.
  • Assist with startup, troubleshooting, and correction of machinery during assembly and in the field.
  • Write code for motion control systems and assist with R&D projects.
  • Prepare technical documentation for machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate electrical components and ensure proper selection based on cost and application.
  • Lead assigned projects through to completion.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing.

Electrical Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior electrical design experience required with a proven ability for creative solutions.
  • Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 for PLC programming and control systems.
  • Proficiency in Structured Text and Ladder Logic programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of machine safety standards and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with coordinated motion control, especially servo systems.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical design is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
  • Travel up to 25% for customer and vendor interactions.
