Skills to Look For: Hand soldering (through-hole and/or surface mount technology) Ability to read blueprints and schematics Experience with IPC standards (especially IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001) Use of magnification tools or microscopes Certifications (if needed): IPC J-STD-001 (Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)

Solder Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 09:00am to05:00pm )
Reading Blueprints & Schematics Understanding technical drawings to follow exact specifications. Preparing Components Cleaning, aligning, and positioning metal parts before soldering. Performing Soldering Tasks Using soldering irons, torches, or wave/reflow equipment to bond wires, circuits, or metal parts. Inspecting Work Checking for proper connections, smooth joints, and meeting quality standards (e.g., IPC-A-610). Repair & Rework Fixing bad solder joints or replacing damaged components on PCBs or wire harnesses. Maintaining Tools & Equipment Keeping soldering stations clean and tools in good working order.
Solder Tech Qualifications:
- Must have a resume showing experience
- must be able to read blue prints and schematics
- team orientated
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
