CNC Machinist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
26.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 04:00pm to02:00am )
Equipment Preparation, Set-Up, & Maintenance:
- Set up and dismantle CNC and manual equipment, fixtures, and tooling under supervision.
- Utilize pressure-regulated air hoses for deburring parts and edges to drawing specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
CNC Machining and Production:
- Operate CNC and manual machines such as lathes, mills, and multi-axis work centers.
- Manufacture parts with complex dimensions, compound angles, and tight tolerances as per prints and specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and utilize precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with Quality Policy, ISO standards, and customer expectations.
- Conduct First Piece Inspection and inspect part characteristics during production.
- Complete required documentation at each stage of production.
General Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize daily job assignments and work instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and tools.
- Adhere to safety policies and practices, ensuring all work is performed within established guidelines
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent; technical cert. preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
