City Services worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
14.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Perform maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, parks, buildings, or other city property.
- Operate hand and power tools, light equipment, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist with seasonal duties such as snow removal, leaf collection, and landscaping.
- Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment.
- Respond to public service requests and emergencies as needed.
- Maintain records of work completed and report issues to supervisors. Support other departments and team members as directed.
City Services worker Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Experience in maintenance, construction, or equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Work is performed outdoors and may involve exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
- Requires lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
