We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sandblasting Technician to join our team. This position involves preparing surfaces for painting or coating by using abrasive blasting techniques to remove rust, paint, or other debris. Sandblasting Technician Details:
Temporary position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Perform sandblasting on various materials, including metal, concrete, and other surfaces.
- Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment.
- Prepare surfaces by masking and cleaning as needed.
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Sandblasting Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous sandblasting or industrial painting experience preferred.
- Ability to operate blasting equipment and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and wear a respirator.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
