Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Material Handler

We are seeking a material handler for our client in the Longmont area. Previous experience needed.

Material Handler Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$21.40 /hour
Full Time work available
Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:30pm to 11:00pm)

Load drying hoppers, ovens
Maintains and safely operates all job related equipment
Provides corrugated and packaging supplies to technicians and operators
Relieves technicians and operators for scheduled breaks and lunch
Maintains accurate reporting of material as it pertains to PTA’s material issuance system
Maintains a neat and safe work floor and warehouse
Maintains tool inventory.
Assists in setting-up molding machines when required.
Works with other warehouse personnel in maintaining an efficient materials flow

Material Handler Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Operate a forklift
Perform simple math functions,
Computer literate
Attention to detail
Previous material handler experience

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
