Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 27.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift
- Change oil, fluids, and perform PM maintenance
- Use hand and power tools to repair, clean, and maintain pumps and pump appearance.
- Load, secure, deliver, unload and install pumps.
- Receive, inspect and stock needed products, including oil filters, air filters, pump, hoses, and tools.
- Secure and maintain hand and power tools required for work completion.
- Inspect, examine, and test pumps using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Read, comprehend, and apply information from parts diagrams, owner’s and instruction manuals.
- Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications.
Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years industrial mechanic experience or three to six months experience and/or training maintaining industrial, mud, vacuum, or submersible pumps; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have own tools
- Be able to work evenings and weekends
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
