CNC Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to11:00pm )
- Performs skilled machining operations, including but not limited to; laser cutting/drilling, milling, sawing, tapping and grinding to extremely close tolerances according to customer specifications.
- Sets up and operates a broad range of machines including Laser machines, CNC Mills, horizontal boring mills, grinders, drill presses and lathes.
- Interfaces with supervision, toolmakers, engineers, program managers and quality personnel to resolve problems and ensure that parts are manufactured to customer specifications.
- Sets up all types of inspection and measuring devices to check and verify tooling and parts.
- Uses and interprets complicated prints, drawings and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts.
CNC Machinist Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing background, preferably in Aerospace.
- Must have experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drill presses and band saws
- Must have experience with a wide variety of measuring and inspection devices
- Must be able to pay exception attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures and complete assignments accurately and on time
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
