Heavy Duty Auto Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to05:30pm )
- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and test vehicles and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, alignments, filter replacements, hydraulic systems, and fluid exchanges
- Service light trucks, heavy duty trucks, semi tractors, material spreaders, 6 wheelers, excavators, skidders, and other heavy equipment
- Complete inspections and communicate repair needs clearly
- Follow all safety procedures, training requirements, and company policies
- Maintain shop equipment and a clean work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Heavy Duty Auto Technician Qualifications:
- Experience inspecting, repairing, and testing vehicles or heavy equipment
- Required certifications include ASE A1, A4, A5, A6, A7, and 609 AC
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Customer service skills and ability to work in a fast paced shop environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Valid driver’s license required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
