Role offers full time hours, safety and skills training, and a temp to hire opportunity with a well established operation.
Tire Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to05:30pm )
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger vehicles, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial equipment
- Load and unload tire inventory and assist with stock organization and inventory counts
- Perform tire pressure checks and work with TPMS systems
- Follow safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies
- Use shop equipment to raise vehicles, remove wheels, and install tires
- Perform basic inspections and support daily shop operations
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the team
Tire Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience repairing, replacing, and maintaining tires on various vehicles
- Strong attention to safety and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift and move tires weighing 35 to 75 pounds regularly, with heavier tires up to 250 pounds using mechanical assistance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, squatting, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Valid driver’s license required
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
