Road Flagger - Certified Details:
Temporary position- $
21.00 / hour Part Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to06:00pm )
- Control the movement of vehicles through work zones using STOP/SLOW paddles, hand signals, and radios
- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate clearly with other flaggers and site supervisors to coordinate traffic flow Monitor road conditions and adjust traffic control as needed
- Maintain a safe environment for workers and the public Follow all state, federal, and company safety guidelines Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and pedestrians passing through the work zone
Road Flagger - Certified Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and situational awareness Ability to remain calm and focused in fast?moving or stressful environments
- Reliable, punctual, and safety?minded
- Valid flagger certification (varies by state)
- Ability to lift and carry traffic control equipment
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
