PT/ED Tech $19.50 per hour, every other weekend off.

PT/ED Tech Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.50 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00pm to06:30am )
- Tests chemical concentrations and pH using titration, burettes, pipettes, pH/con ductivity meters, and lab equipment Replaces filters per SWIs
- Monitors system levels and adds chemicals as needed Tracks water usage per shift
- Troubleshoots system and adjusts for quality improvement
- Operates/maintains sludge press for phosphate application Removes metal debris from pretreat line magnets
- Handles acids, bases, degreasers, paint pigment, resin, biocides, and other chemicals
- Operates forklift per OSHA/DOT guidelines Maintains area per 5S standards
PT/ED Tech Qualifications:
- Mechanically Inclined Uses hand tools competently and performs basic repairs
- Recognizes equipment malfunctions
- Self-Starter Works independently and takes ownership
- Manages time well and addresses issues without prompting
- Safety-First Follows all safety and chemical handling protocols Identifies hazards proactively
- Proactive Troubleshooter Spots problems early and prevents downtime Diagnoses root causes and implements solutions quickly
- Clear Communicator Updates team, supervisors, and management effectively
- Documents findings and collaborates across departments
- Chemical Process Knowledge Understands pre-treatment systems, dosing, and concentrations
- Supports process adjustments and maintains accuracy
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
